We are very happy to announce our first Zapier extension for WP Webhooks Pro! This extension allows you to integrate Zapier in the most easiest way possible.

What our extension offers
Our extension is already integrated with every webhook action WP Webhooks and WP Webhooks Pro offers.
IT simply provides you a more optimized user interface and the possibility to link the plugin using Accounts for a more convenient configuration experience.
We also integrate already a second-generation trigger (Polling trigger). This trigger allows you to fire an action after a user is created. You can set up various configuration possibilities to fire the filter only for certain users, based on your requirements.
How it works to set up a WP Webhooks Pro action
Simply create a new Zap, choose a trigger (Which can also be our WP Webhooks extension) and add the WP Webhooks extension as an action (See screenshot).

You can also choose an action event. Simply check that Perform Webhook Action is selected.
After, click on continue.
In the next step, you are prompted to choose an account. This is where you can set up your WP Webhooks webhook.
You will find your webhook settings in your WordPress dashboard under: Settings -> WP Webbhooks -> Receive Data.
How it works is, that Zapier requires the following fields to authenticate your website correctly:
- Your website URL
This is necessary to determine which website Zapier needs to check if WP Webhooks is available. - The Webhook Name
This is the name of the initial webhook, which is visible within the first column of your webhook table. - The WP Webhooks API Key
This is the API key, which is attached at the end of the webhook URL. With the newer versions of WP Webhooks Pro, you will have a separate field for the webhook API key.
After you successfully filled in your information, you need to click “Yes, continue” and Zapier automatically connects with your webhook URL. Here is a screenshot on how the filled form looks like:

In the last step, you can setup the webhook action as usual, but in a more simplistic interface than using the “Webhooks app” from Zapier.
Please see as an example the screenshot down below:

That’s it! After clicking continue, you can test the step and you are god to go.
The values from the response are as well optimized and visible in a more convenient way.
In case you would like to have any features, feel free to reach out to us at any time.
